Ceramic Shell: This housing structure mainly employs Leadless Chip Carrier (LCC) and Pin Grid Array (PGA) types. It may include or exclude an oxygen-free copper exhaust pipe. Characterized by multiple pins and the absence of a Thermoelectric Cooler (TEC) package, this type is known for its cost-effectiveness.

Cooling-type infrared detector shells are designed with round ceramic parts and a metal ring, allowing for connection to a Dewar cooler. They are engineered to withstand extremely low temperatures, even as low as -200°C, ensuring exceptional reliability.
